-
Management of activities related to user registration and authenticated access to the reserved area.
-
Management of user interactions within the platform, including participation in active or archived forums moderated by members of the Scientific Board.

Such interaction may involve, upon consent, the publication of identifying data (first name, last name) and email address in a dedicated section, visible to Community members, to enable direct communication through instant messaging.
-
Keeping users informed via email notifications regarding the progress of forums they are participating in. Users can enable or disable such notifications in the personal “profile” section.
Provision of Data and Legal Basis for Processing
According to Article 6 of the Regulation (EU), processing is lawful as it is necessary for the correct and complete execution of contractual or pre-contractual obligations, and therefore, user consent is not required. Providing personal data is necessary to process the registration and enable user interaction within the platform, and to establish the relationship between the parties.
The Data Controller notes that refusal to publish data in the Community section will only result in the inability to initiate direct communication with other members via instant messaging, without further consequences.
